The sixth Singapore Palliative Care Conference will be held between 28 and 29 June 2014, with preconference workshops taking place on 26 and 27 June.
The theme for the 2014 conference is: ‘Building Bridges, Enhancing Care’, and aims to address the issues that challenge those caring for people facing a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.
Organising Chairman, Adjunct Associate Professor Edward Poon, explains: “SPCC 2014 offers in-depth perspectives from leading clinicians and practitioners in the field, sharing on practical programmes and interventions beneficial for life and landscape transformations. With these programmes, we aim to advance skills and knowledge by building a platform for world experts, medical professionals and allied health professionals to converge, learn and share.”
This conference is open to anyone, including general medical practitioners, allied health practitioners and volunteers.
Abstracts of original, unpublished works for oral and/or poster presentations are invited, and must be submitted by 28 February 2014. Full details of the criteria and how to submit an abstract are outlined on the conference website.
