The 14th World Congress of the EAPC is being held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 8 to 10 May 2015.
The theme of the congress will be ‘Building Bridges’, highlighting the fact that palliative care practice is complex and challenging and that its success depends on building bridges between different professional and non professional groups, disciplines, countries, regions and continents.
Applications for IAHPC Travelling Scholarships are invited from physicians, nurses, psychologists and other disciplines.
Applicants must be:
- living in lower, lower-middle and upper-middle income categories as per the World Bank income classification data
- active members of IAHPC
- working actively in palliative care
- registered as web users at the EAPC database online (free of charge) on the EAPCNET website.
Preference will be given to individuals who have not received an IAHPC or OSF grant in the past three years, with accepted poster or oral presentations in the Congress.
EAPC will give discounted registration fees to individuals from countries in the lower and lower-middle categories. Winners of the scholarships will benefit from this discount. Additional information about the congress is available on the congress website.
More detailed information about the application process and the online form are available on the IAHPC website.
Deadline to apply is 30 January 2015. Results will be announced by early February.
