£28,470 per annum (Based on a 40 hour week)

5 weeks’ Holiday plus Bank Holidays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Retail Manager to join our busy Retail Team. Managing a busy portfolio of shops throughout the Nottinghamshire area you will be responsible for the achievement of required sales targets and maximising profitability for the Hospice. This will be achieved through continuing to build on our effective shop teams of employees and volunteers, setting clear objectives, providing direction and guidance for the successful achievement of such objectives, and monitoring performance on a continual basis.

The ideal candidate will have line management experience, significant experience gained within a retail environment and the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team to drive sales and achieve targets. Excellent verbal and written communication, planning and organisational skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions are essential. You must have experience of financial planning, analysis and budgeting and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with a full driving licence and your own transport. Voluntary sector and Gift Aid experience are desirable for this role. 

The successful applicant must be able to travel as this role involves working at various shop locations throughout Nottinghamshire.
