Job Responsibilities:

The Lien Centre for Palliative Care (LCPC), housed within the Duke -NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore, aims to be the premier palliative care research and educational Centre in the region. With generous support from the Lien Foundation, strategic collaborations with the National Cancer Center Singapore and the broader Singhealth Institutes, LCPC is poised for significant growth in the coming years.

To meet the goals of the Centre, LCPC is recruiting faculty at the Assistant/Associate/ and Full Professor levels. In particular, LCPC is seeking scholars whose goal will be to develop new projects and expand existing projects within both the research and educational portfolios.

Successful applicants should have relevant experience in palliative care and plans to pursue both internal and external research and/or education grants in efforts to establish an innovative, pragmatic and high quality research agenda in palliative care in Singapore.

Opportunities also exist for expanding collaborations locally, with researchers at Duke University, USA and with other palliative care institutes worldwide. Clinician scientists will be eligible to apply for a joint appointment within the Department of Palliative Medicine or other relevant departments within the National Cancer Centre and may split their time between research and clinical duties. This position represents an outstanding opportunity to become a high impact investigator in Singapore.

Job Requirements:
Medical, nursing, or PhD
Prior experience in palliative care research as demonstrated through grants and publications and/or delivery of palliative care education programs
Leadership
Drive/enthusiasm
Ability to work comfortably with both clinicians and non –clinicians
