Salary: AfC Band 6, £26,041 FTE / £20,832 Actual
Blythe House Hospice is looking to recruit an experienced part-time BACP or UKCP counsellor to provide counselling to bereaved children and young people. The successful candidate will join an established enthusiastic team working to meet the growing demand for advice, information and emotional counselling support for this vulnerable group.
A 3 year fixed term contract funded by BBC Children in Need; the Children and Young People’s service at Blythe House Hospice is now looking to further develop the service for the children of the High Peak. The post involves 1:1 client work, group work and training.
Essential:
- BACP or UKCP Registration
- Diploma in Counselling
- At least two years post-qualification experience in a children’s counselling role
