Are you a social worker or psychotherapist with experience in working with children/young people and skilled in leading a service and team of volunteers?

At the Hospice of St Francis our Children’s Supportive Care team provide support to those facing the death and bereavement of someone important to them. The post holder will help coordinate our support services for children and lead a team of trained volunteers who provide support to children and young people.

This is a job share post, working alongside our current post holder (an art psychotherapist) as part of the Supportive Care Services and the clinical multi-disciplinary team. This role is key to the on-going running, future development and creativity of our support s

ervices providing individual and group support to enable children, young people and their families to come together and explore their feelings.
You will be experienced in the assessment and evaluation of services, providing support to children and giving guidance, support, training and supervision to team members.
