Clinical contracts and information manager

Categories: Care.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual with experience and knowledge of health and social care commissioning structures and processes, to take the lead on statutory income generation for our adult’s and children’s hospice services.

Statutory funding constitutes a significant income stream and is likely to become more important with changing commissioning structures and direct payments, affecting services for adults and children across all domains of health and social care. You will be able to influence and develop practice, and improve services for patients and families, through clinical audit and contractual performance management. You will develop our information management across all clinical and care areas, and contribute to the ongoing development of quality management, covering the three central tenets of patient safety, clinical effectiveness and patient experience, ensuring regular information and reports are submitted internally and as a CQC and NHS/Local Authority commissioning requirement.

EllenorLions Hospices are the provider of all-encompassing hospice care for adults living in the Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley area. Our services include inpatient and day therapy at the hospice in Northfleet and 24-hour hospice at Home. Our children and young people’s service (chYps) provides a full hospice at home service to children and families across the whole of West Kent and the London Borough of Bexley.

We are looking for a motivated person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, who has experience of direct and sustained commissioner/provider relationships, and the ability to develop and write successful funding bids and tender applications, ensuring that funded services are monitored and evaluated.
