Salary £32,840 – £38,670 pro-rata. Dependent on experience/qualifications and fit with profile.
St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care, Day Hospice and community care. We are currently looking for a Clinical Practice Educator.
Spearheading our drive to support clinical staff development, the successful candidate will be RN qualified with experience within an end of life care environment, managing and co-ordinating the care of adults with complex needs. You should also have a recognised teaching qualification and experience of supervision, mentorship and reflective practice, Community and/or hospital knowledge or experience is desirable.
In this exciting new role you will work alongside clinical colleagues in a training and development capacity to role model:
- evidence based practice
- competence in clinical skills such as symptom control, complex drug regimes and administration, end of life care and advanced communication skills
- individual enquiry
- personal responsibility for learning.
