Your coffee works wonders

We are thrilled to be serving up Ozone Coffee, a B-Corp accredited coffee roaster, which means every bean of our delicious coffee is responsibly sourced.

Every sip, every snack, and every visit has an impact because every penny helps us provide free care for Londoners at the end of their lives.

And you can rest assured that every cup has an impact without leaving one on our planet. Everything is served up in recyclable and compostable packaging. Our drink-in cups are even made from coffee husks, a by-product of the coffee industry.

Care for a coffee

Like Royal Trinity Hospice shops across London, all profits from Common Cause go directly to funding the hospice’s free care.

Every time you choose Common Cause, not only will you enjoy great food and drink, but you can relax, knowing that you’re helping people on your doorstep get the care they need.

Our counter-culture

Meet the Common Cause counter – this counter is here to serve you, but it’s also proof that we’re serious about sustainability. It’s just one feature in our café helping us leave less of an impact on our environment because it’s made from recycled fridges!

Royal Trinity Hospice has received multiple awards recognising our commitment to sustainability, so it makes sense that we have sourced furnishings and suppliers for Common Cause that champion ethical producers and reduce our carbon footprint, right down to our eco-friendly paint.

We have also teamed up with the amazing social business Raw Workshop to repurpose furniture from the hospitality industry, giving furniture a new life, while equipping young people with career skills. This means that over 90% of the materials we’ve used for furnishing our new space have been recycled or refurbished.
