Help the Hospices was founded in 1984 and is the leading charity supporting hospice care throughout the UK. We have a fundraising department of 18 responsible for securing around £6 million each year to fund our work.
We are looking to recruit a corporate partnerships executive who will be responsible for managing a series of successful, ongoing corporate relationships with a variety of organisations.
The role will include the creation of new fundraising and volunteering initiatives within existing partnerships, providing first class account management, producing innovative fundraising support materials and maintaining accurate financial records. The role will also provide support to our high value partnerships where appropriate.
The post holder will need to have demonstrable account management experience, preferably within the charity sector. You will need to be creative and to bring fresh fundraising and volunteering ideas to existing partnerships, along with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly motivated and enthusiastic, you will need to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all areas of your work, and be able to show initiative and successfully manage a variety of accounts and projects. The successful candidate will need to be a strong relationship builder, be able to think creatively and follow through with your ideas to deliver targets and be able to work effectively with their manager and the rest of the fundraising team, other internal stakeholders, corporate partners and our member hospices.
