St Michael’s Hospice, North Hampshire, is seeking a dynamic director of patient services to further develop and deliver our strategic patient-focussed plan.
As one of the senior management team reporting to the chief executive, the post holder will contribute to overall hospice strategic and operational management and be in a position to engage and influence positively.
We pride ourselves on the provision of innovative services that best meet the needs of the local population, working in partnership with other organisations, to deliver high quality care to the patients.
Working in conjunction with our medical director and multi-disciplinary teams, you will inspire others to deliver excellence in patient care.
As the registered manager, you must have clinical credibility within the specialism, coupled with a solid understanding of the standards expected by the Care Quality Commission. The post holder will have proven ability to effectively manage a diverse team of employees and handle day-to-day operational issues in an objective and timely way. Naturally a ‘people’ person, you will take pride in training and supporting your team. A quick relationship builder, the successful applicant will also possess a talent for negotiation and the skills to network effectively with external contacts. Able to prioritise the challenges of the role with ease, the post holder will be comfortable multi-tasking and have a solution finding attitude.
Salary: circa £44,000
