Salary: Up to £16,698.40 per annum
Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice provides end of life care in the Boroughs of Greenwich & Bexley. We currently have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the team at the Hospice as follows:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of cleanliness required at the Hospice, including emptying of bins, sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, polishing, cleaning toilets, re stocking toilet/washroom paper products and the provision of a laundry service to meet the needs of the Hospice.
Working as part of our housekeeping team, it is essential that the successful candidate is able to work using their own initiative to ensure that the standards expected at the Hospice are met and exceeded.
To meet the needs of the service the post holder is expected to demonstrate flexibility within working practices.
A working knowledge of Health & Safety, and infection control with previous cleaning experience ideally in a Health care environment would be advantageous.
