Salary: Band 4 £23,375 to £26,949 per annum inclusive
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a Donor Care Officer to join our Fundraising and Engagement Team. This role supports the wider fundraising team to ensure that supporter and financial data is up to date and accurately recorded on the fundraising database (ThankQ). You will support the Database Manager in ensuring best practice in storing and recording donor data on ThankQ. Additionally, you will provide a first-class donor care service by generating tailored, accurate thank you letters and communications to supporters, in a timely, efficient way.  Key duties will include processing donations, both manually and via import process and ensuring our supporters are effectively thanked. In addition, you will provide general administrative support to the wider Fundraising Team where required.

You will have experience of working on a supporter database and of dealing with enquiries from the general public. You will have excellent and accurate administrative skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office products. Ability to create tailored correspondence to supporters that reflects the ethos and ambitions of the hospice is also essential. You should be comfortable communicating with distressed relatives over the phone or face-to-face.
