Salary: £29,000 (FTE)
Hours: 15 per week
The above role is an exciting new opportunity within our Education Team. In line with the National End of Life Strategy, you will be responsible for our Acorn Project which involves building links and partnerships with local schools and organisations to promote, develop, and manage education opportunities and projects for children.
Managing a team of volunteers and patients, you will plan, design and implement regular and exciting projects to raise awareness and understanding of the work of hospices, as well as satisfy curriculum needs. You will also work across other disciplines within our Education Team when required.
We are looking for someone with passion, enthusiasm and creativity to manage and develop the service. Proven project management and organisation skills are essential as the ability to communicate professionally and appropriately to a manner of different individuals. Experience of managing a team is also essential.
You must be a registered nurse with palliative and end of life experience. Experience within a teaching environment would be desirable.
