the General Medicine for Palliative Care Physicians 2026 webcast — a trusted annual update designed to sharpen and refresh the general-medicine skills essential to modern palliative-care practice.
Running since 2002, this well-established course brings together leading experts from multiple medical specialties to provide clear, practical, and clinically relevant updates for physicians caring for patients with complex, multi-system disease. Delivered live via Zoom across two half-day sessions, it offers an accessible, flexible way to maintain clinical excellence while balancing busy workloads. During the course we will address each of Kolb’s learning styles to ensure every attendee gains the most possible learning – watch and reflect, explore abstract ideas, solve real life problems and challenge yourself!
Course structure:
5th February 2026 09:00-13:00 – First part of the course is a taught half day online session, where we will consider skills taught on your original ACST course and additional topics such as authenticity and pillars of resilience
Second part of the course is self-directed, and you will have a period of 6 weeks to watch recordings from experts in particular areas of care such as:

19th March 2026 09:00-13:00 – Last part of the course, there will be a 2-hour reflective session for all delegates to share their learning and discuss how to transfer new learning back into practice.
