We are situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside near Haywards Heath, providing specialist short and longer-term integrated palliative care. The Hospice has the following vacancy within its busy Fundraising Department.
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic person to join our successful Fundraising Team. Income from events is a vital part of our fundraising strategy, as is ensuring that we maintain and develop our organisational profile within the communities that we serve.
With experience of organising and running successful fundraising events within a similar role, you will be able to demonstrate the significant contribution that you can make to our fundraising team. You will develop and deliver the strategic direction for events and community fundraising, ensuring sustainable growth in net income for the Hospice.
Your enthusiastic and outgoing personality will be supported by a thorough knowledge of fundraising and events management. You will be required to report on income, expenditure and trends and evaluate results to inform and propose a future events programme. You will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with a wide variety of people and organisations. You should also be comfortable working within a team or on your own.
Due to our location you must have your own transport and the post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
