The new Events Fundraising Manager, Partnerships Manager and Individual Giving Manager positions offer a real opportunity for successful candidates to have a direct, tangible impact on the organisation by increasing support and income for the hospice – which means helping us to continue to provide much-needed care to the thousands of local people living with or affected by life-limiting illnesses who rely on and value our services.

These three key roles will report directly to the Director of Income Generation and Communications and will be pivotal in further developing a robust portfolio of activities across their areas to ensure our growth continues, increasing our fundraising across Greater Manchester and engaging local communities and supporters by cementing our position as one of the city’s most loved charities.

The Events Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a programme of vibrant and commercially successful fundraising events in support of the hospice, including our successful flagship event the Manchester Midnight Walk, which attracts up to 3000 walkers every year. The post holder will also lead our Events and Administration teams, supporting them in developing an ongoing portfolio of hospice and third party challenge events. They will devise and work with the team to deliver a comprehensive plan to engage and grow the number of participants in our fundraising events, with a real opportunity to think creatively about ways to engage new audiences across the city.
