Questions to ask after a terminal diagnosis is designed to help people find the information they need and ask questions, so that they can make informed decisions about their treatment and care , helping them to live well in the time they have left. It is a resource for health and care professionals working in a range of settings, as well as people living with a life-limiting or life-changing condition and their families.
This booklet is designed for people with a life-limiting condition but it can be used by anyone who has to make a decision about their treatment or care, for example those living with a serious illness that may mean a big change to their lifestyle. Examples include cancer, dementia, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, heart attack, stroke, and organ failure.
