This course is aimed at doctors working in specialist palliative care, consultants, associate specialists, specialty doctors and specialty registrars.
About the course
In the delivery of palliative care services, palliative medicine physicians come across patients with general medical problems. How good are you at dealing with these? Do you need to update your knowledge and skills in these areas?
The course complements the Oxford Advanced Pain and Symptom Management Course, and speakers are drawn from their specialty, from outside palliative medicine.
This course aims to provide:
- a review of advances and changes in disease management.
- an opportunity to discuss the management of these problems
- within the palliative care setting and to share practical tips.
