Have your say on end of life care for children and young adults

Categories: Community Engagement.

The national organisation has been asked to develop the clinical practice guideline for use in the NHS in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The draft scope, published on 21 October, defines what aspects of care the guideline will cover and to whom it will apply.

Registered stakeholders for this guideline are invited to submit comments on the scope and may suggest clinical questions that could be answered in the guideline.

However, individuals and organisations not registered as stakeholders are not able to comment. NICE therefore recommends that you register as a stakeholder or contact a registered stakeholder organisation that most closely represents your interests and pass your comments to them.

The National Collaborating Centre is also currently looking to recruit members for the Guideline Development Group – this requires a commitment of two years. Further information and person specification can be found online.

Deadline:

The draft scope consultation and Guideline Development Group recruitment is taking place between 21 October 2014 –  18 November 2014.

You can access the draft scope consultation document online. If you have any queries please email nice@nice.org.uk and for more information visit the NICE website.
