Would you like the opportunity to work with a major broadcaster on an exciting charity fundraising appeal to help promote hospice care, by sharing inspiring stories about patients and their families?
National hospice charity Help the Hospices is looking for an experienced and dynamic senior media and PR officer to coordinate and deliver a major Christmas media appeal working alongside a leading broadcaster.
The role
Working alongside the head of corporate partnerships, the role will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the appeal, working closely with the broadcaster concerned and a wide range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing compelling and emotive stories about patients and their families.
- Leading on proactive and reactive media relations.
- Generating creative ideas to maximise media coverage.
- Working with the broadcaster to provide support on all external communications with the appeal’s stakeholders.
- Monitoring and reporting on all media coverage for the appeal Building and maintaining strong relationships with celebrity charity patrons.
This is a fixed term six month-contract with the possibility of a permanent role.
