Head of Appeals in East Sussex
37½ hours per week   Salary £31,910 p.a.
Based at our Eastbourne office

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex, providing care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.  We offer care both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

We are seeking an ambitious person to take the lead on developing our fundraising income in East Sussex.  With at least five years fundraising experience, the post-holder will be expected to personally develop corporate and major gifts fundraising while leading a small dedicated team working on community fundraising, events and marketing.

You must have a proven track record of successful high level fundraising, planning and developing key relationships with supporters.  The successful applicant will be a team-player, able to work well with others, using their judgement and experience to make decisions about fundraising approaches.  Strong influencing and communication skills are essential.

A full driving licence and own transport are essential for this post.
