Do you have the energy and knowledge to drive forward our contemporary community hospice care model? Are you passionate about supporting people with their learning?
Reporting directly to the clinical services director, you will be pivotal in developing services to reach more people by taking the lead role in research, training and development. Your remit will be the workforce of the whole organisation, over 500 people plus provision of learning opportunities for other organisations
We are looking for someone who will:
- help us develop a new model of hospice care to meet the evolving needs of our community
- develop innovative practice with a ‘can-do’ approach
- lead on governance issues
- provide leadership in research, teaching and learning
- demonstrate expert palliative care practice.
Candidates should be a registered health or social care professional with excellent communication skills and experience in management, community and end of life care.
Hours: full-time, 37 hours/week
Salary: from £34,103, subject to experience
