Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £48,720 – £53,867 p.a. (depending on experience)

Then a position at Princess Alice Hospice might be just what you are looking for. Princess Alice Hospice is one of the top ten adult hospices in the UK providing specialist palliative care in a superb purpose-built 28 bedded In-Patient Unit and Day Hospice, and in the community.
The Hospice provides comprehensive training and development as appropriate.
This new and exciting opportunity is for a self-motivated, confident and quality-focused individual, who will play a key role in the overall development and continuing success of the Hospice, placing patients and users at the centre of all we do.
You will be working closely with the Director of Patient Care and Strategic Development and the wider clinical teams and will provide leadership, management and direction of our palliative and end-of-life care and support services for our patients and their families and carers. You will be passionate about high quality care and ensuring the best possible patient experience and will be a strong advocate for continuous learning and improvement. If successful, as well as leading on clinical audit, quality and evaluation, you will be responsible for taking our approach to user involvement to the next level by developing systematic approaches to gaining qualitative and quantitative patient and carer feedback. Working closely and collaboratively with the Education Department and the Practice Educator you will identify where additional education and training will lead to service improvement.
The person we are looking for will be educated to degree level and hold a current professional health care qualification. They will be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge and understanding of clinical performance systems and the national regulatory framework. They will also possess excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills, be able to influence and have an ability to demonstrate compassion and sensitivity when appropriate. Most importantly they will have a commitment to the vision, mission and values of our Hospice.
