Salary range: £24,100 – £33,740 pro rata

The Hospice of St Francis is pleased to offer the opportunity to someone who wants to make a difference to palliative care in and beyond the Hospice. The new Head of Quality postholder will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective care which fully complies with CQC, environmental health and other requirements. The postholder will be a nurse who has experience within palliative care and in audit, quality or education, who has proven leadership skills in influencing care.
The postholder will manage all areas of quality and be a key member of the Hospice’s Clinical Leadership Team who oversee all aspects of clinical governance. They will manage an experienced audit nurse who develops and delivers the annual audit programme. In addition, the postholder will manage the Catering manager and all aspects of the kitchen which enables the Hospice to provide patient-centred nutritional care to patients and their families.
