Salary: WB Band 6: £25,585 – £31,888 + death in service benefit and pension from November 2015 (unless transferring in from NHS)

Willow Burn Hospice is an independent charity based in Lanchester, delivering Palliative and End of Life Care Services to adults across Derwentside and Co Durham.
This exciting new post here at Willow Burn is crucial to enabling us to continue to improve and develop our services. This innovative post will appeal specifically to practitioners with demonstrable experience in service improvement and who are seeking to further develop their expertise in a specialist setting.
This role will be responsible for exploring innovative and needs led service developments that encourage integrated and partnership working with other organisations/agencies across North Durham. This post would suit a professional with experience of working as a Therapist in a specialist team e.g. OT etc.
Experience of service improvement methods and person centred care is essential for this post and will require the post holder to lead and evaluate service/practice development projects. We aspire to a culture of continuous quality improvement here at Willow Burn and the post holder will be an essential element of our workforce as we take our services forward to meet the needs of our local population.
