We will be holding our one-day retail conference next April 2015 with the support of our Retail Steering Group. The conference is aimed at member hospices’ retail staff – hospice retail directors/managers, area managers and shop managers.
The aim of the conference is to develop knowledge and good practice among hospice retailers; providing an opportunity for attendees to network and learn from colleagues’ experiences as well as hear from expert speakers from the industry.
Workshop sessions will look at topics ranging from ‘Should I open a café/bookshop: the reality’ to maximizing income from the “missed charity shopper” – men!
Confirmed plenary speakers include Gerard Cousins, Director of Retail and Trading at Barnardos, and Richard Gerver, a motivational speaker.
