Sue Ryder is one of the UK’s leading healthcare charities, providing care and support for people living with incurable illnesses. We support people living with conditions like cancer, MS, Huntington’s disease and brain injuries as well as providing palliative care within our hospices and care centres across the UK.
This is an exciting new position that will play a vital role in helping Sue Ryder double its fundraising income over the next five years. Supporting the Head of Direct Marketing and the Regional Fundraising teams you will be responsible for developing a new approach to in-memoriam giving across Sue Ryder. Working with key stakeholders, you will develop and deliver consistent stewardship plans for in-memoriam donors whether received centrally and regionally. You will also be responsible for promoting our new Tribute Fund product to existing in-memoriam donors through various on and off line communication channels using both fundraising and non-fundraising opportunities.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels. You will also have experience of delivering in-memoriam giving fundraising activities and promoting tribute funds to a wider audience.
