Rowcroft Hospice serves the people of South Devon by providing specialist care to patients with progressive, life limiting illnesses.
We are currently seeking an experienced and resourceful IT professional to add to our team to manage our server and network services. We run a diverse and expanding array of IT services in a virtualised and distributed network environment across our main site. We also provide IT services to Rowcroft shops across South Devon.
In the role, you will be required to install, configure and maintain a variety of servers and network equipment and services. Provide assistance to staff and other members of the IT team. You will be required to be available for regular on-call as well as some out of hours work.
Suitable candidates will have good analytical, organisational, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. You must be able to demonstrate experience in a wide variety of Linux, Windows and proprietary systems with knowledge of directory services, including Novell eDirectory. Above all, you must be enthusiastic about developing the service and yourself.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: starting at between £21,175 and £23,869
