Lecturer in Long Term Conditions / Palliative and End of Life Care (0.6fte)

This is an exciting opportunity to develop current and future professional knowledge and competence in Palliative and End of Life Care. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic practitioner/lecturer with experience and expertise in palliative care settings to join our dedicated academic team. You will be able to develop and implement a range of CPD, undergraduate and postgraduate education, in line with identified specialist palliative care and end of life care education and practice needs working with external partners.

You will have an appropriate degree and ideally have experience in teaching and assessment as well as a relevant track record of research and scholarly activity in relation to the post. It is essential that the post holder has NMC or HCPC registration.

The School of Science, Technology and Health are committed to excellence in Health and Social Care education, practice and research. Our students are undertaking a range of CPD modules on both a full and part time basis, studying both undergraduate and master’s level from a range of professional backgrounds. In addition, our programmers are firmly based around strong collaboration with our local Health and Social Care providers and you will be expected to build and maintain strong links with practitioners. The Division of Health is developing an interdisciplinary research cluster around public health, ageing and dementia, along with technologists and scientists at UCS.
