St Helena Hospice is a dynamic independent hospice, with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary team work and close, effective relationships with the CCG’s, NHS Trusts and local clinical networks. Established in 1985, it is the provider of specialist palliative care to the community of North East Essex.

St Helena Hospice has a vacancy for a Lecturer in our Education Team. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing in house and external training in line with identified specialist palliative and end of life care education and practice needs. 

Candidates will need to hold a First Degree in Palliative Care or appropriate speciality, and hold a Post Graduate Certificate of Education or equivalent (or be willing to work towards) as well as having proven experience in palliative care. NMC registration at Level 1 is also required. The ideal candidate would be educated to Masters level or equivalent.
