Working in the area served by Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice near Bedford
Do you have a passion and ability to make a difference for patients, their carers and families at a vulnerable time in their lives?
The charity Sue Ryder is working in partnership with the company Dynamic Health Systems (DHS) to pilot an extension of DHS existing internet delivered “VitruCare” supported self-care service to offer help to people who are approaching the end of life initially in three pilot areas: Leeds, Keighley in West Yorkshire and Bedfordshire
An experienced senior nurse (based at a local Sue Ryder hospice) who can work across organisations involved in supporting patients and carers at the end of life.
Since the project is a fixed term pilot a clinical professional experienced in palliative care with the ability to use their own initiative, be flexible and accommodate change as a matter of routine is essential.
This post will involve travel (paid from work base) in the local community with occasional wider travel for project meetings or visits further afield therefore the post holder must be able to work flexibly.
