We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Registered Social Worker with experience in, or a passion for, palliative care to join our multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist care for patients of all ages across all settings.
EllenorLions Hospices are the provider of all-encompassing hospice care for adults living in the Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley area. Our services include Inpatient and Day Therapy at the Hospice in Northfleet and 24 hour Hospice at Home. Our Children and Young People’s Service (chYps) provides a full Hospice at Home service to children and families across the whole of West Kent and the London Borough of Bexley.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated person, with a holistic approach, who can offer an excellent service directly to patients and families, and support the overall care through effective team working with colleagues. You will directly supervise our experienced Macmillan Family Support Worker. In return we can offer support with ongoing professional development and regular supervision. NHS Pension Scheme members can transfer in their pension.
The post is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.
