Heart of Kent Hospice is looking forward to getting 2022 off to a running start with the return of the Maidstone Road Run on Sunday 6 March 2022.

Hospice volunteers and marshals will be on hand to make sure the event runs smoothly and safely as runners take part in either a half marathon, 10K, 5K, or the 1k family fun run. All the routes will start at Cornwallis Academy and will take runners along the beautiful country roads around Linton, Boughton Mon Chelsea and surrounding villages.

Heart of Kent Hospice Events Manager Erica Snow said. “We can’t wait to welcome runners of all ages and abilities next March and we are hoping that this important fundraising event will attract over 500 runners who together will be raising much needed funds for the Hospice. Many of the enthusiastic runners have a personal reason for taking part and a running goal they want to achieve.”

The event offers three distances providing the perfect warm up for the Spring race season and all routes are chip timed and depart from Cornwallis Academy.
