Haven House Children’s Hospice supports families and cares for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across North and East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire. This role will be based at our newly built Holistic Care Centre attached to our beautiful, woodland hospice.
This is an exciting time to join a growing fundraising team full of ideas and enthusiasm and with a proven track record of success. As we plan to increase our voluntary income over the next five years, to support more children we are looking for an ambitious and experienced Major Donor Executive to join our Major Gifts Team.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will work in conjunction with the Major Donor Manager, Trustees and other senior staff to ensure we meet our aspirations.
Strong relationship management skills are key as you will work with a portfolio of Haven House supporters as well as have the skills to research, attract and retain new donors.
With an exciting number of events already planned, this role offers regular opportunities to meet donors and inspire them to support Haven House. With excellent cases for support; this is an ideal opportunity for an established fundraiser with strong research and communication skills to build on our current successes and to take our Major Gifts funding to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ‘Making the Ask’, there is great scope within this role to create bespoke donor care plans and to have significant input into our ‘donor journey’. You will have autonomy within the role and therefore the chance to establish new ways of working and to help shape our long term approach to Major Gifts.
Haven House’s five year strategic plan encompasses aspirational plans for growth and change. This role is will be crucial in helping to raise the necessary funds for new and innovative services for life-limited children and their families.
