Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services operate from two sites in Dublin, Harold’s Cross and Blackrock. We provide specialist multidisciplinary services in Extended Care and Community Reablement for Older People, Rheumatology and Specialist Palliative Care.
The purpose of this position is to provide education in the area of palliative and end of life care. The post holder will develop the capacity of OLH&CS to use e-learning as a method to increase both the quality and reach of our education and training activities. The role involves the planning, budgeting, co-ordinating, implementing and evaluating of a range of research informed educational programmes and events.
Essential Requirements:
- Professional Health Care Qualification & Registration with Professional Body.
- Palliative Care Qualification at NFQ Level 8 or above.
- Teaching / e-learning qualification or working towards same.
- Significant post-graduation experience, some in the area of Palliative Care.
- Recent experience in facilitating e-learning, student learning and curriculum planning and development.
Desirable Requirements:
- Master’s Degree.
- E-Learning Qualification.
- Teaching Qualification.
- Recent engagement in research, policy and practice development.
