Royal Trinity Hospice appoints new Chief Executive

Royal Trinity Hospice are delighted to announce that they have appointed Emily Carter as their new Chief Executive.

Emily brings 15 years of leadership experience within the National Health Service. She is currently the Divisional Director of Operations for acute services at the Royal London Hospital and delivered the emergency care response to the Covid-19 pandemic. She has previously held senior operational roles at Kings College Hospital and national roles at NHS England.

Trinity’s Chairman, Adrian Williams said:

“Emily brings extensive healthcare leadership experience, strategic vision and strong ambition to Trinity. I am confident that she will help us to achieve our goal of maintaining high quality patient care while meeting the increasing needs of our community.

Emily Carter said:

“I am thrilled to be joining Royal Trinity Hospice and I am so impressed with the inspiring work being delivered every day. Supporting people and their loved ones to have a positive experience at the end of their life is something that is very important to me.

I am really looking forward to becoming part of Trinity so that I can work with staff, volunteers and partner organisations to ensure as many people as possible benefit from our truly excellent care.”

Emily will take up her new role at Trinity on 6 December 2021.
