Senior Lecturer
30 Hours per week – Band 7 circa £40,000 per annum pro rata

St Wilfrid’s Hospice is a local charity providing specialist palliative and end of life care and support to patients and their family and friends. Since opening our doors to our first patient in January 1987, we have cared for over 14,000 local people and at any one time we care for over 230 people in our local community. All our services are provided free of charge, we are not a part of the NHS and rely on public support to raise 87% of our £6.7 million annual running costs. 
 
We are looking for a Senior Lecturer to join the exceptional team at St Wilfrid’s Hospice Chichester and lead our highly regarded education department. We deliver a wide range of education and training programmes, including degree level courses approved by the University of Greenwich.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the department in its aims to equip health and social care professionals with the evidence base and skills set and qualifications they need to deliver excellent care and develop future leaders for the palliative care workforce.

If you are a Registered Nurse with extensive palliative care experience, Master’s degree in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification we would like to hear from you.

Managing a small team of lecturers and administrators, you will lead in the delivery of a range of courses, many of which are commissioned and delivered in partnership with other organisations.
