Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s retail division is responsible for generating income to support the Hospice’s work in providing end of life care in the Boroughs of Greenwich Bexley. We have an opportunity for a Shop Manager to join the retail team at the Hospice.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated enthusiastic individual, who is target driven, with excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of charity shop management and functioning, for our Hospice outlet in the Bexleyheath Broadway area.

Previous retail experience, ideally within the charity sector is essential, along with a good standard of education to GCSE level. Computer literacy with Microsoft Word and Excel and email is necessary, alongside sound verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to organise and prioritise work calmly, to deadline.

You will be required to be flexible in your approach to hours working alongside a Job Share Manager and a team of volunteers, where the opening hours are 9.30am to 4.00pm. You will also be working as part of the larger retail team to maximise income against a given annual budget whilst providing excellent customer service as the face of the Hospice in our Broadway shop.
