Location: St Gemma’s Hospice, Moortown, Leeds

Responsible to: Head of Clinical Support Services

St Gemma’s Hospice is seeking an experienced Social Work Manager to lead our social work, bereavement and young people’s bereavement services. We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is able to work on their own initiative in a proactive and flexible manner.

You will have:

  • Current Social Work registration with the HCPC. A recognised Diploma in Counselling and BACP Accreditation is advantageous but not essential
  • Significant experience in leadership and operational management
  • In depth knowledge of Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding and Human Rights legislation
