Special Events Manager

It’s an exciting time at Hospice UK as we are implementing a new income generation strategy. As part of this strategy we have some great opportunities to develop our special events programme. To help us make the possible a reality we have created a dynamic new role and are eager to find the right person to fill the position.

The exciting new role of Special Events Manager will build a new portfolio of special events and lead on the delivery of major donor and corporate cultivation events. The role will work with colleagues to identify events that support the income generation strategy and our new donor programmes. Working collaboratively the role will work closely with the corporate partnerships team to develop ideas for special corporate events run jointly with our corporate partners. The role will also work alongside the Events Manager (challenge events) supporting major events during busy times.

A dynamic self starter you will build a portfolio of creative and innovative events. You will be able to successfully project manage the events from conception to delivery with post event logistics and analysis. Organised and resilient you are a good networker and facilitator who is able to build relationships, work collaboratively, identify needs and use expertise to shape a successful outcome.
