The Rowans Hospice is a local charity which provides specialist palliative care and support to patients with life limiting illnesses, and their relatives and carers in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire areas.
The social work team provide a fundamental part of this service with care management responsibilities as well as psychosocial support and bereavement care.
We are looking for a qualified social worker to join an established team at The Rowans Hospice. You will need to demonstrate post-qualification experience and hold current HCPC registration. An ability to work effectively within a multi-professional team and good communication skills are essential.
Salary: Band 6b, £25,150pa based on 30 hours per week
