Paul Marriott, CEO of St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham, has announced his plans to retire in March 2025, at the end of the financial year.
Paul joined the Hospice in 2012 and prior to that was Chief Executive for 8 years at DePaul UK, a national homelessness charity which helps disadvantaged young people.
Under Paul’s leadership, the Hospice has remained well-established and well-loved within the Durham area, supporting thousands of families and individuals each year.
Paul said: “It’s been an enormous privilege to work with a team of such skilled and committed individuals and to see the impact they make on the lives of patients and families. I look forward to seeing the Hospice continue to develop in the years ahead.”
Recruitment for Paul’s replacement is underway and The Board of Trustees and Paul are committed to ensuring a smooth transition in March 2025.
