For almost 40 years, we’ve been here for people across the North East with free care and support. We know the word ‘hospice’ can feel daunting and scary to some, and most people still know us for our end-of-life care – which is really great and reassuring. But we want everyone to know that we do so much more too.
September launches a brand new awareness campaign, where we’ll be sharing patient and family stories that help challenge some of the common myths about hospice care and give people a better sense of what life here is really like.
It will help us show the wider community ‘Our Story’ which says – ‘We are St Oswald’s and we’re a Hospice. We’re much more than most people think we are.’ We provide outstanding end-of-life care – AND so much more. St Oswald’s Hospice is a place where people matter. It’s a place filled with joy, laughter and special moments too.
