NCPC will be running their training workshops on Tuesday 1 and Tuesday 8 March. Just a few minutes away from King’s Cross station and about a 15 minute walk away from Euston station, our new offices have purpose-built training rooms, making it ideal for our full-day sessions.
This full day workshop will focus on two main topic areas: The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Advance Care Planning (ACP).
The MCA session will focus on the guiding principles of the Act using real practice examples. There will also be guided exercises using case study examples to support learning and application to practice.
The ACP session explores the challenges of advance care planning conversations and will aim to provide staff with the knowledge and skills to start, and continue, conversations with people as they approach the end of their lives.
