Grade: SW NJC Scale point 42 (£37,551 per annum (pro rata))
Principally based in Finchley
Over the last few years we have been developing a programme of training to assist volunteers to reach a baseline of emotional competence in order to support our patients and their foremost carers effectively. We are looking for the right person to coordinate this innovative approach which is at a new stage of developing the capacity of volunteers themselves to deliver training and support to other volunteers.
You will be a registered health or social care professional with experience of providing complex emotional support as well as training adults. Our volunteers who receive the baseline support will go on to work in a wide range of our services. You will also ensure that once they are in role and service trained they continue to have opportunities for group support – promoting reflexivity, resilience and development.
The role will require a regular weekly work pattern – to be negotiated.
