Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours – Permanent

The Triage and Palliative Care Support Service is undergoing changes in the way it delivers its clinical services.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, experienced healthcare professional to lead and support these initiatives to become the Triage Development Manager for the service.  This is an inspiring and new lead position which provides many opportunities to influence change, leading others in a rewarding and highly valued role.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of management, extensive knowledge and experience in the field of palliative/end-of-life care, a working knowledge of evidence-based practice, an understanding of current initiatives and developments within palliative and end-of-life care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage the strategic direction of the service in addition to the day-to-day operational issues for the service and the team.

The service is responsible for coordinating and managing all professional patient referrals that are received by North London Hospice, liaising with patients and their families, coordinating the placement of Palliative Care Support Service staff with patients, and working with our service volunteers, to ensure all patients are cared for in their preferred place of care.

The post holder will have a minimum of five years post-registration experience.
