22.5 hours per week
£11,961.69 – £13,290.77 (after 6 month probationary period)
St Catherine`s Hospice is a charity which has provided specialist palliative care to the people of Preston, Chorley and South Ribble for the past 28 years.
It now costs £5m to run the hospice’s services each year, a huge total which has to be raised in many varied ways. To help us meet this important challenge in an increasingly competitive charity marketplace, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Trust and Funding Bid Officer.
We are looking for someone with the passion and skills to gather, understand and present complex information and supporting data in a clear, concise and thought-provoking way within grant applications. Crucially, our bids need to answer trust funders’ questions – and keep them engaged until the very last line.
The role will see you research opportunities and then write, review and edit bid material to produce high quality submissions which reflect the organisation, its values and experiences.
