Hospice UK has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with excellent writing skills and online content management experience to work on a thriving global media outlet.

Working in a small editorial team, you will be responsible for writing and publishing content on ehospice, an internationally read news and information resource on hospice and palliative care.

ehospice is an expanding global website and app, with editions spanning the world from Australia to the USA, India, the UK and many more. Aimed at anyone with a professional or personal interest in hospice and palliative care, it offers access to news, information and examples of good practice to help improve the provision of high quality care. It has only been publishing for just over two years, but already ehospice has grown to be a primary news outlet for the sector and was even shortlisted for a major charity award in 2014.

Working on the UK and International editions of ehospice, your main responsibilities would include:

  • Daily searches of the web, newsletters, social media, etc to gather news from the hospice and palliative care sector
  • Writing engaging summaries of the latest news and developments in hospice and palliative care
  • Uploading content to the ehospice website and app, including, articles, job adverts, education events and images.
