Call for sessions proposals open for hospice leadership conference

Categories: Education.

NHPCO’s 31st Management and Leadership Conference (MLC) will focus on the currents – and results – of change and the creativity and spirit of innovation that will be needed. The educational program will explore how hospice and palliative care leaders anticipate, respond, shape and navigate through change as well as the creativity, innovations, collaborations and successes that arise during times of significant change.

Those interested in submitting an proposal are asked to think in terms of how their organization or their practice has realized successes in leading through change and the creativity and innovation that was necessary for success. How have you as a professional “stopped doing only what you know?” Where have you placed “a little focused effort” to spark new ideas, programs, services, partnerships?

NHPCO is looking for a wide range of professionals to submit a proposal that can spur executives, leaders, managers and other stakeholders to creativity and excellence in the provision of hospice and palliative care.

The MLC learning objectives are listed on the Call for Proposals website – all submissions are done online.

Presentation Proposal Deadline: Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:59 PM ET.

NHPCO’s 2016 Management and Leadership Conference will be held April 21-23, 2016 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland (just outside of Washington, DC).
